Gear Patrol — Top 50 Steakhouses

The Eastwood Inn was just listed in Gear Patrol’s top 50 Steakhouses in the country.  Thank you very much, this is a Reader’s Choice listing, a high honor indeed.  However, the top 5 were in NYC!  I want those voters to come to visit Ligonier, I think we belong in the top 3.

Filet Mignon: “What makes this steak so special is the atmosphere. Eastwood Inn was originally a speakeasy in the 1920s, serving booze to some of Pittsburgh’s most elite. The speakeasy feel is still embraced by having to ‘buzz in’ at the front door to enter. The filet mignon cuts are thick and shipped in fresh from Pittsburgh’s finest meat markets. It’s served with a butter sauce.”

Ligonier’s Eastwood Inn Changes Hands

Writer Nicole Chynoweth wrote a great article introducing our new ownership of The Eastwood Inn on October 7, 2015.

If walls could talk, the Eastwood Inn would probably have a lot to say.

The iconic restaurant along state Route 30 in Ligonier has entertained the likes of Dean Martin, Neil Armstrong and countless local celebrities for 81 years.
